Lighted Christmas Parade
Welcome to the Annual Lighted Christmas Parade in beautiful San Saba! To ensure a safe, enjoyable, and well-organized experience for all participants and spectators, please review the following rules and lineup directions. If you choose to fill out the sign up sheet prior, please click the link below, fill out and bring to the sign up table.

- Participant Requirements
- All entries must be lit with Christmas lights or illuminated décor.
- Each entry must complete the full parade route.
- Drivers of motorized vehicles must hold a valid driver’s license.
- All animals must be controlled at all times. Horse entries must provide their own clean-up team.
- All children must be supervised by an adult.
- Safety Guidelines
- No throwing candy or objects from moving vehicles. Walkers may hand out items to spectators.
- Absolutely no alcohol is permitted on parade entries or in the staging area.
- Maintain a safe speed and distance between entries.
- No stopping along the parade route unless instructed by parade staff.
- Entry Conduct
- All entries must maintain family-friendly themes.
- Music is encouraged but must be appropriate and kept at a reasonable volume.
- Parade marshals have the right to remove any entry that is unsafe, disruptive, or violates guidelines.
- Lineup Directions
- Parade lineup begins at 4:30pm at the corner of Commerce and 7th Street.
- Please enter the staging area from Commerce and High Street and follow volunteer instructions.
- Check in with parade staff upon arrival to sign up/turn in your sign up sheet and receive your lineup number.
- All entries must be in position no later than 5:30pm. Judging will begin at 5:30pm.
- The parade begins promptly at 6:30pm.
- Route Information
- The parade route will travel from 7th Street, continue down Wallace St./US Hwy 190 to Live Oak. The parade will continue down Commerce back to 7th Street.
- Spectators are encouraged to line the route early for the best view.
- After the Parade
- Exit the route promptly as directed by parade staff.
- Please remove any trash or décor from the staging area before leaving.
