Business Spotlight: RR Fuel
Fueled by Family, Driven by Community: RR Fuel

Chamber Member Spotlight: RR Fuel
Family-Owned. Dependable. Local.
This week, the San Saba County Chamber of Commerce is proud to shine our Business Spotlight on RR Fuel, a local, family-owned business dedicated to keeping San Saba County moving!
Owned and operated by Britton and Kynda Edmondson, RR Fuel provides dependable fuel service to San Saba and the surrounding community. With fuel pumps available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, customers can fuel up whenever they need to—even when the office is closed. RR Fuel also provides fuel delivery services, helping meet the needs of area farmers, ranchers, businesses, and community members.
A Business Built Close to Home
For the Edmondson family, RR Fuel is about much more than running a business—it’s about investing in the community they call home.
After moving back to San Saba in 2016, an unexpected opportunity came their way in 2020. A longtime friend reached out to Britton to see if he might be interested in purchasing the local fuel stop from her grandparents, who were ready to retire after years of serving the community.
It wasn’t a decision the family made overnight. After plenty of conversation, prayer, and consideration about what owning a small business would mean for their family, they decided to take the leap.
They knew San Saba was home, and they wanted the opportunity to invest in and serve the community that had given so much to them.
What began with a phone call became RR Fuel and a new chapter for the Edmondson family—one centered around hard work, dependable service, and taking care of their neighbors.
Small Business, Personal Service
One of the things that makes RR Fuel special is just how local and personal the business truly is. The operation consists of Kynda, her husband, and one dedicated employee working together to keep everything running.
When customers call, stop by, or schedule a fuel delivery, they’re working directly with people who know the community and care about the people they serve.
“We take pride in providing dependable, personal service and treating our customers like neighbors—because most of them are!”
That personal connection is also what Kynda says she loves most about doing business in San Saba County.
In a small community, customers often become friends. RR Fuel is grateful for the relationships they’ve built over the years and for the continued support San Saba County has shown their family and business.
Did You Know? RR Fuel Pumps Are Available 24/7!
One service RR Fuel wants more people to know about is the convenience of its 24/7 fuel pumps.
Even when the office is closed, customers can stop by and fuel up any time of the day or night. Combined with their fuel delivery service, RR Fuel works to make dependable access to fuel as convenient as possible for the people and businesses of our area.
What Makes RR Fuel Proud?
For Kynda and her family, success isn’t just measured in gallons of fuel—it’s measured in relationships and trust.
They are especially proud of the relationships they’ve built with customers and the trust the community has placed in RR Fuel. As a small family-owned business, every customer matters, and they take pride in providing reliable service to the same community they call home.
