This week’s San Saba County Chamber of Commerce Member Spotlight shines on Sings My Soule Boutique, a business filled with style, personality, encouragement, and a whole lot of heart.

Owned by Talor Helberg, Sings My Soule Boutique is a men’s and women’s apparel and accessories boutique serving customers both online and from its storefront right here in San Saba. From well-known brands and personalized gifts to a beautiful charm bar and a men’s section that deserves a little more attention, there’s always something fun to discover.

A Calling That Became a Business

Talor’s entrepreneurial spirit started long before Sings My Soule Boutique opened its doors.

“Growing up, I always had a business and was always geared toward being an entrepreneur, but I honestly didn’t see that in myself until recently,” Talor shared.

At 22, she had already spent four years working in retail at a local boutique. When that boutique announced it was closing, Talor knew she wasn’t ready to walk away from the retail industry. At the same time, she felt another calling on her life.

“I knew God had called me to be a missionary. I knew He was calling me to be on mission day in and day out. Those two callings collided, and Sings My Soule Boutique was born!”

The beginning was humble. Talor stored inventory in her dining room and shipped packages during her lunch breaks while continuing to work a full-time job.

Today, Sings My Soule has been in business for more than 10 years and has called San Saba home with a storefront for the past four years.

More Than a Boutique

Walk into Sings My Soule and you’ll find an impressive selection of brands, including Jon Hart, Silver Jeans, SAXX Underwear, Consuela, Kinsey Designs, and many more.

One of the boutique’s standout services is in-house Jon Hart stamping, making it easy to personalize a special purchase or gift. Shoppers can also create something uniquely their own at the boutique’s gorgeous Kinsey Designs Charm Bar.

But for Talor, the heart of the business goes far beyond what’s on the racks.

When asked what makes Sings My Soule special, her answer was simple:

“We truly just want to point people to Jesus.”

That mission is reflected in the bright, encouraging atmosphere Talor and her team have created and in the relationships they build with the people who walk through their doors.

Guys, Don’t Skip the Men’s Side!

There’s one part of Sings My Soule that Talor wishes received a little more attention: the men’s section!

“My dad and my husband pick out all of our men’s stuff, and I must say they have great taste!”

With men’s apparel and accessories—including brands such as SAXX—Sings My Soule isn’t just a shopping destination for the ladies. It’s a great stop for the guys, too, or for anyone searching for a gift for the men in their lives.

A Team Worth Celebrating

When asked what she is most proud of, Talor didn’t name a milestone, product, or sales achievement.

She said simply: “My team!”

That team comes with some history, too. A fun fact customers may not know is that Talor’s mom and Dina have known each other since the seventh grade!

It’s that combination of friendship, family, faith, and community that helps give Sings My Soule its one-of-a-kind personality.

Talor describes the boutique in three words:

Energetic. Bright. Encouraging.

And when asked to finish the sentence, “When you visit our business, you can always expect…” Talor gave an answer that perfectly captures the Sings My Soule experience:

“…an alcoholic beverage in one hand and to be prayed for, all in one!”

Celebrating Four Years in San Saba! 🎉

There’s an extra reason to celebrate Sings My Soule this month. The boutique is marking its 4th Anniversary in San Saba on September 12!

For Talor, reaching this milestone is especially meaningful because of the community that has supported the boutique along the way.

When asked what she loves most about doing business in San Saba County, her answer was immediate:

“The community that supports us! San Saba has been so good to us.”

We couldn’t think of a better reason to return that support!
